"No Man's Sky" developer Hello Games is on a mission to make its game live up to expectations. Shortly after releasing its Foundation Update, the studio has now unveiled the contents of its next patch for the Windows PC version.

More patch notes were posted on the game's community page on Steam during the weekend. The patch is currently available on the Experimental branch, so access is limited to PC gamers who are enrolled in it. Once the studio is confident that it does what it is aimed to do, it will then be made available to all Windows users.

Hello Games confirmed that an issue that involves an underwater structure, which spawns without doors, prevented the NPC mission from getting completed. This was resolved although the fix is only temporary for now. A more permanent solution is still in the works.

A game bug that used to cause the Exosuit tech to get stuck at the Starship inventory has been resolved. Once the upcoming patch rolls out, players should no longer see this bug in the games they saved previously.

A temporary workaround was also devised for an SLI issue. Hello Games developers have suggested that the TAA feature of the video graphics card must be disabled for the meantime. The studio is also coordinating with NVIDIA to have a long-lasting resolution.

A new mod installation process was also created in order to prevent the game from experiencing problems every time a patch rolls out. Gamers are advised to read the file called DISABLEMODS.TXT that can be found on the path called \GAMEDATA\PCBANKS.

Meanwhile, the Foundation Update that was released last month brought the fun back to the game. There are now more things to do with the addition of the base buildings for new structures. It also now allows its players to teleport back to their bases to get their appropriate supplies and, according to Polygon, it gives them the ability to conquer a planet by building a new habitable base on that planet.

Players can also now enjoy three game modes: Normal, the original setup for the game; Creative, which gives gamers the freedom to explore the universe endlessly; and Survival, which makes the game more challenging by limiting one's resources.

"No Man's Sky" is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC platforms.
