However, several viewers shared mixed reactions over Kim's acting in "Goblin," also known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God." Online feedback captured by All Kpop listed some of the negative comments that indicated Kim's poor on-screen chemistry with her co-star.

Some netizens claimed that the two South Korean actors Gong and Lee had more chemistry than the "Coffee Prince" star and Kim. Another viewer mentioned that Kim was perfect for her role in the drama "Cheese in the Trap," however, the actress appears to be "just tagging along on her own" in "Goblin."

Apart the criticism, Kim also received several positive comments from netizens who gushed over the actress and Gong's on-screen interactions. Another viewer even highlighted how Kim portrayed her character perfectly in the tvN drama.

In other news, "Goblin" remained as one of most discussed shows in the online community during its premiere weekend, as well as several days after its first episode release. The tvN drama landed on the top spot of Daumsoft's  TV popularity index, according to the said data mining company's chart, as cited by Yonhap News.
