"God of War 4" release date remains elusive for gamers. However, hints of its December release next year and other game updates continues to proliferate online.
The PS4 sequel of "God of War" continues to captivate the imagination of gamers, especially after a demo has been revealed during the Sony conference at E3 2016. Since then, release date of the follow-up has been widely searched online, but only Amazon seemed to hold the slightest truth of the release date for "God of War 4" under PS4 platform.
Amazon advised gamers and enthusiasts that the particular game will be released on December 29, 2017. However, there are no other supporting details regarding the information, for it might only be the relative release date as per company's marketing calendar and not that of Sony's official release period. Guess we would just have to wait for the official annoucement of the release date of "God of War 4."
While there is still no confirmation coming from Sony regarding the exact release period of the game, a related interest was recently given a well-informed outlook. The question of the role of the son of Kratos in the upcoming installment of "God of War" has been previously raised by some fans, for they feared that the kid will replace the main hero of the game.
In an interview made by LevelUp with Cory Barlog, creative director at Sony Interactive Entertainment's Santa Monica Studio, he shared that the son of Kratos is undoubtedly the most important new element in the game. However, fans should not think that the kid will replace Kratos in the game and its succeeding follow-ups.
Barlog debunked the idea that Kratos will die somewhere in the game series and that his son will be the successor. According to LevelUp, game developer Santa Monica Studio, will not be similar to Metal Gear Solid 2, where accordingly Snake only used a small part of the title. Barlog highlighted the real role of Kratos' son, wherein it can be controlled to attack an enemy, activate something, go somewhere, and not as a replacement of the main character.
