Manchester City is on a rare two-game losing slide, their first in the English top flight under Pep Guardiola, which resulted in the team dropping to the fourth spot of the league table. They are now seven points below current league leaders Chelsea and only a point behind third-running team Liverpool.

City was stunned by struggling team Leicester City, 2-4, on the road at the Kings Power Stadium last Saturday, as per the Mirror.

The defending champions netted the first four goals of the contest before the visitors were able to answer back with two goals of their own.

Jamie Vardy had a hat trick for the Foxes, scoring his goals in the third, 20th, and 78th minutes, sandwiching Andy King's goal in the fifth minute.

The Citizens netted their goals in the 82nd and 90th minutes, courtesy of Aleksandar Kolarov and Nolito respectively, to evade a humiliating shutout.

Meanwhile, Watford has been mercurial in their last six games, winning three and losing three, to settle in the seventh place in the overall standings, six points below the Europa League qualifying berth currently occupied by Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hornets are coming off a 3-2 escape against Everton at their home ground of Vicarage Road also last Saturday, The Guardian reported.

Italian striker Stefano Okaka was the man of the match for head coach Walter Mazzarri's squad as he led his team with a brace.

Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring for the Toffees in the 17th minute, but Okaka netted his first goal of the contest in the 36th to level the count at 1-1.

Sebastian Prödl gave the lead to Watford with a goal in the 59th minute before Okaka scored his second one four minutes after the hour mark.

Lukaku netted his second goal as well in the 86th for the final count.
