Almost a month has passed since Rockstar announced that the much-awaited sequel for "Red Dead Redemption" is in the pipeline and is all geared up for a 2017 rollout. Apart from being released to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it looks like the PC will be joining the western shooter bandwagon by the time it hits the shelves next year.

PC Advisor noted that PC players will finally get the chance to play the upcoming title onto their preferred platform as the publication claimed to have found hints of such in Gamestop. However, upon checking, it seems that the upcoming title will still be playable to both of Sony and Microsoft's turf. PC comrades will just have to wait for an official statement from Rockstar regarding that concern.

There was even a request instigated by a PC gamer over at Change requesting both Take Two Interactive and Rockstar Games to release the title on the said platform. The petition even reminded the developers on how they were deprived of playing the first game and asked them not to do the same with "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Meanwhile, rumors mills have been spinning quite frantically that the yet to be released sequel will be getting an online mode just like what Rockstar did to "Grand Theft Auto 5." Prior to the developer's "RDR 2" announcement last month, a fan on Twitter posted a purported domain that reads "Red Dead Online" and Take Two Interactive being its registrant.

Nevertheless, Attack of the Fanboy highlighted that the domain was filed over a year ago and a lot of things has definitely changed since then. If such update does fit in the bag, then it would something to look forward to when "RDR 2" is released in fall of next year.
