Huawei continues to target low- to mid-budget smartphones in the tech market as it launched the Enjoy 6S, successor to the recently released Enjoy 6. The new-dual SIM smartphone is packed with impressive specs, which is slightly more improved from its previous model.

The new Huawei smartphone is developed in partnership with China Mobile, and packs with mid-range features such as a 5-inch 720p AMOLED screen IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels.

According to Indian Express, Huawei's next-gen handset is positioned as a similar smartphone to the Enjoy 6. The new smartphone's chassis uses an all-metal body with chamfered edges.

Also with a 7.6mm profile, Enjoy 6S is slightly thinner than the Enjoy 6, which measures 7.9mm. The phone is packed with a 3020 mAh battery, a capacity significantly smaller than the 4100 mAh battery on the Enjoy 6.

Unlike the MediaTek-powered Enjoy 6, the 6S version comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is clocked at 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Tech Firstpost reported. Both the Enjoy 6 and Enjoy 6S handsets boast 3GB of RAM, although the latter doubled its internal storage from 16GB to 32GB along with the similar connectivity features.

The connectivity features include LTE-enabled Dual SIM slot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, FM Radio, microUSB v2.0, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot and 3.5mm headphone jack.

In its optics department, the Enjoy 6S features a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture along with a 5MP front shooter.

Enjoy 6S is priced at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 15,700) and is offered in three color variants (silver, white and gold.) The phone's price tag is pegged at a slightly higher price than the Enjoy 6, which was launched in China at 1299 Yuan (approx. Rs 12,800).

Although the next-gen Enjoy 6S handset edges its predecessor in terms of GPU capabilities and sleeker design, Huawei Enjoy 6 still makes a good, high-end smartphone. It features a 5-inch AMOLED display with HD resolution, and is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. It is packed with a 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 5.1 skin running on top, and sports a 13MP rear camera (f/2.2) along with a 5MP front camera.
