A video of “Descendants of the Sun” actress Song Hye Kyo endorsing Dyson hair diffuser posted in November has gone viral with more than 50,000 hits. Now, a photo of the 35-year-old actress which she posted on Monday on Instagram had also gone viral with close to 270,000 likes in two days.
Song Hye Kyo captioned the Instagram photo “With @daesikson” which appears to be the brand of lipstick the makeup artist is applying on her. She looks a little different in the photo after apparently going through a makeover by stylist Sun Taizhi since her long hair is styled with wavy curls, matched with a very big earring, Koreastardaily reported.
The post received a lot of fan likes and comments. A lot of comments, however, were in Korean characters, whiles some just posted various emojis such as Smiley with different emotions, hearts and kisses.
Jwkimail commented that the photo looks like an artist is drawing a painting, instead of painting colors on the face of Song Hye Kyo. Donnaleneeee found her to be a “stunning babe” and urged the actress to “stay darn pretty.”
Of course, there are the usual wishes by fans that the imagined romance of the actress with “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki would become real and they get married. One of those who made that wish was regina22regine.
Other fans urged her to go to their country and hold a fan meet, such as Indonesia as requested by ayuuunyill. Mbhel_0304 hoped to see Song Hye Kyo in another drama.
Wndkml asked Song Hye Kyo is she would attend the 2016 KBS Drama Award where she is a nominee for Best Actress and Best Couple with Song Joong-ki, while “Descendants of the Sun” is a nominee for Best Drama. However, she and the 16-episode drama is so far in third place.
