Star studded Donald Trump's inauguration won't be.
That liberal bastion called Hollywood, which bleeds Democrat blue, isn't crazy about Trump becoming president, and the man with the small hands is having a tough time getting Hollywood A-listers to perform at his inauguration on January 20, 2017.
Many celebs and artists view a performance at Trump's inauguration as a kiss of death and a betrayal of the liberal ideals they stood up for during the presidential campaign.
Despite rumors that Trump's people are willing to pay seven figure fees to top notch celebs to perform at the inaugural, none have apparently signed up.
Hollywood sources say those "celebs" that have signed-up are either washed-up such as Kid Rock and Scott "Chaci" Baio. There's also Kanye West but he's admittedly crazy.
Some right wing celebs one would expect to grab at the chance to get more publicity haven't signed on yet. Included in this roster are right wing stalwarts Kid Rock, Ted Nugent and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Then there's "America's Got Talent" runner-up, 16 year-old Jackie Evancho who's not even old enough to vote, or to know what it means to be a right wing conservative Republican out to gut abortion rights and the right to vote. She'll sing the National Anthem.
Industry insiders and DC politicos doubt Trump's inauguration team has managed to convince even a single major celebrity to show-up at his inauguration.
That might change given the temptation six-to seven figure fees Trump's people say their willing to pay.
But the short-term gain will be bad for long-term careers. Antonio Sabato, Jr. was banned by Hollywood for supporting Trump.
And some celebs have called for a boycott of any artist, actor or musician who performs at Trump's inaugural gig.
"Creative people tend to reject bigotry and hate," said singer John Legend when asked about the inaugural committee's reported struggles to attract prominent artists to perform.
"We tend to be more liberal-minded. When we see somebody that's preaching division and hate and bigotry, it's unlikely he'll get a lot of creative people that want to be associated with him."
And, for the first time in 20 years, no Washington, D.C. public school marching band will perform at the presidential inaugural parade. Another vote of no confidence in Trump.
