Weeks after the death of "The Brady Bunch" mom Florence Henderson last November, another iconic American television icon in Alan Thicke died last Tuesday after suffering from a heart attack.

Thicke was playing hockey with his son Carter at Pickwick Gardens in Burbank California before collapsing. While being carried out on a stretcher, the 69-year-old even joked with his son to take a picture of him, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Thicke died from myocardial infarction moments after at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank.

The Canadian actor was best known for his role as Jason Seavor, a psychiatrist and father, in the hit 1980s sitcom "Growing Pains." Thicke played Jason Seaver as a corny and adorable dad whom the American audience grew fond of. The series ran for seven episodes and was comprised of 166 episodes from 1985 to 1992.

Thicke started as a game show host in Montreal called "First Impressions" in the late 1970s. He also hosted the game show, "Pictionary," from 1997 to 1998. Thicke also had a great career as a producer and composer. He was the brains behind game shows like the famous "Wheel of Fortune."

The University of Western Ontario alum also appeared in popular TV shows "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and "How I Met You Mother."

In a report by Mail Online, Thicke's wife, Tanya Callau, even posted about his husband two days before the death and wrote that she has the "cutest designated driver ever." Thicke looked healthy and strong while sporting a smile and black sunglasses.

Thicke was married three times, the first with actress Kristy Swanson in 1986. He married Gina Tolleson, the 1990 Miss World, in 1994 before having their marriage divorced five years later. He has been married to Callau since 2005. He has three children, one of them is singer and hitmaker Robin Thicke.
