Gong Yoo is one of the actors in the South Korean entertainment industry who gained a loyal fanbase given his impressive acting abilities and hit projects. Recently, the "Goblin" star showed his sweet side when he surprised a fan with an unexpected gesture.
Gong has shown his avid fans various sides of himself through the many film and TV dramas that he participated in over the years. From a headstrong yet romantic young man to a father willing to sacrifice himself to save his daughter from zombies, the "Goblin" actor wowed viewers with his acting range.
Moreover, the "Coffee Prince" star is also known to display his adorable side to loyal followers. Recently, reports of Gong's special fan service revealed the sweet ways that he conveyed his appreciation for his fans' support.
A video clip that was taken by a fan during an August VIP screening of the Gong's movie "The Age of Shadows" unveiled his secret message for avid followers. Held at Seoul's Megabox COEX, the "Goblin" actor along with his co-stars took to the stage to talk about the movie.
Recently uploaded on Instagram, the clip showed Gong on stage when he noticed a fan filming him from the side. He then crossed his arms across his chest while his hand surreptitiously formed a finger heart towards the fan.

Gong appears a bit embarrassed yet happy with the secret finger heart action that he made. After glancing towards his other co-stars on the stage, he turned his head back to the said fan with a big smile on his face.
Meanwhile, Gong's hit zombie apocalyptic movie "Train to Busan" will be remade into an English film. The movie's distributor NEW told local reporters in early December that Gaumont Film Company acquired the rights to remake the movie.
NEW's head Kim Woo Taek expressed his excitement in partnering with the French film studio, Yonhap News quoted the executive as saying. He added, "I hope this will provide moviegoers around the world an opportunity to get to know more Korean movies."
In other news, "Train to Busan" nabbed the second spot in the Chilean box office race during the last week of November, according to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, as cited by Korea Herald. The film that landed at number one was J.K. Rowling's film "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them."
