Xiaomi is rumored to be working on the successor of Mi Pad 2. New leaks on Mi Pad 3 have been surfaced and the device is speculated to launch by the end of this month.

The device is speculated to feature full metal body with a thickness of  6.08 mm thin and a weight of 380 grams. The Mi Pad 3 is heavily pegged to be running on Windows 10 OS. There is no news on whether Xiaomi will be releasing Android variant for Mi Pad 3.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 rumors suggest that it will be arriving with 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels. It is expected to be powered by 2.6 GHz dual-core Intel M3-7Y30 chipset along with 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM. It may come in two storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB.

The Mi Pad 3 is speculated to sport 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. The device will be packed with the massive battery of 8,290 mAh that will carry support for Quick Charge 3.0. The device is also said to include a fingerprint sensor.

The Mi Pad 3 with 128 GB storage is expected to cost Yuan 1,999 ($288). The other variant with 256 GB is rumored to be priced at Yuan 2,299 ($330). The device is expected to launch on Dec. 30.

According to a rumor, Xiaomi will be releasing a magnetic keyboard for the Mi Pad 3 which will cost Yuan 99 ($14).Since  Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be running on Windows 10 OS, it will include other applications such as Microsoft Office and Cortana, BGR reported.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 with 7.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels was launched in November 2015. The device comes in two storage variants of 16 GB and 64 GB loaded with Android OS priced at  Yuan 999 ($144) and Yuan 1,299 ($187), respectively. The Chinese company also offers a Windows 10 OS variant with  64 GB storage variant that is priced at Yuan 1,299 ($144), Gadgets 360 reported.
