The said episode featured a suspenseful yet romantic encounter between the goblin Shin (Gong) and the goblin's bride Eun Tak (Kim). With the goblin ready to end his immortal life, he implored Eun Tak to pull out the magical sword from his chest.

Having no knowledge that the action would result to Shin's death, the goblin's bride acquiesced to his request. However, the sword mysteriously disappeared just as Eun Tak grabbed the hilt.

With thoughts of how certain actions would trigger a transformation as depicted in many fairy tales, Eun Tak suddenly pulled Shin towards her to give him a kiss. The goblin can only look on in shock as Eun Tak touched her lips to his.

Meanwhile, "Goblin" already broke several records when it premiered in early December. With the writer Kim Eun Sook behind the tvN production, many fans and critics are expecting Gong drama to become a huge hit.

Known for penning the popular dramas "Descendants of the Sun," "Secret Garden," "Heirs" and more, Kim is one of South Korea's highly paid TV drama scribes. Despite the popularity of her various TV dramas, the writer found it hard to convince Gong to join her earlier projects.

In a press conference for "Goblin" held in early December, Kim revealed how she has been asking the "Train to Busan" actor to join her TV dramas over the past five years. However, when she offered Gong to portray the lead role for the tvN series, the actor immediately agreed, All Kpop cited Kim as saying.

"Goblin" airs every Friday and Saturday on South Korean cable channel tvN. Watch the preview for the upcoming episode 7 below:
