Months after former couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard went into a divorce settlement, the actress claims that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star has not given him the $7 million he had agreed to give. Heard has thus filed legal documents to recover the settlement from Depp.

Heard's legal team filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court a Request for Order to expedite payment on Depp's part. Attorney fees and costs amounting to $35,435 are also included in the request, E! News reported.

Aside from Depp's refusal to pay the settlement amount, Heard's attorneys claim that Depp has failed to comply with other court orders such as the division of personal property and shipping Heard's belongings from Depp's private island in the Bahamas. It is also said that Heard's Range Rover has not been transferred to her name and Depp's outstanding debts from car and jewelry purchase have not been resolved.

According to Mirror, Heard, who will star in the upcoming "Aquaman" movie, said that she would give the $7 million settlement to charity. However, Depp dishonored their initial agreement by paying the initial amount of $200,000 straight to charity instead of giving it directly to Heard.

"Instead, when Johnny learned that I planned to donate my entire marital settlement to charities, Johnny purported to satisfy his obligation to pay me by supposedly paying the charities I selected instead of me," Heard wrote in a declaration alleging that Depp broke their agreement.

Heard also answered allegations from Depp's camp saying that she violated the confidentiality clause of their settlement by publicly announcing that she is donating her settlement money. She explained that she is making the donation in good faith and that she was simply responding to reports that labeled her a gold digger.

It is speculated that Depp is refusing to make the payments because he believes that Heard breached the confidentiality provisions in their settlement agreement when she wrote two pieces about having suffered domestic violence. Although Heard never mentioned any name in her write-ups, it was widely believed that she was referring to her ex-husband.
