The latest details for "Star Wars Battlefront" will feature the "Death Star" expansion for free, problems in the "Scarif" DLC and singe player mode for the next sequel.

The last DLC expansion for "Star Wars Battlefront" called "Scarif" is reported to have several in-game issues during its launch. The "Scarif" DLC featured two new heroes from the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" along with, a new Infiltration game mode, and a huge patch for the base game.

However, it also caused some problems for purchasers as a large list of bugs across all gaming platforms arebeing tracked and investigated by DICE, including an issue that causes owners of previously released DLC to lose access to their purchased content, Gamespot reported.

For some season pass owners, previous DLC packs have been locked. Electronic Arts issued a workaround, citing a reissued license as the root of the problem. Other users have reported had an inability to unlock Hutt contracts for the medical droid, an exploit on the U-Wing phase of the new Infiltration mission, sonic imploder kills not registering, and challenges resetting or not responding to in-game actions.

Multiple users have even reported an issue in which the mission-critical U-Wing is marked as 10,000m away, meaning rounds in that state can never end.

So far, both EA and DICE have not made any anouncement regarding a solution to the issues on the "Scarif" DLC.

In other news, EA announced that the "Death Star" DLC will be free on Dec. 23-25 in all gaming platforms.

Other features include one time 5000 credit bonus when players log in and a 2x score multiplayer will be active. The "Death Star" DLC was released on September for "Star Wars Battlefront" and players who have not played the expansion will get to experience it on the weekends, VG 24/7 reported.

Lastly, the sequel for "Star Wars Battlefront" is teased to have its own single player mode as DICE and co-developer Motive Studios stated that focus of the first game was to nail the core multiplayer experience which was strategy in their part.

Now that the game is expanding, the developers have better sense of what characters are coming into play, what stories we can tell, what stories are maybe being told in a film versus a game.

With that in mind, DICE will likely add new game features that are new and old ones that players were hoping to find in the "Star Wars Battlefront" sequel, hence the single player mode.

EA CFO Blake Jorgensen announced that the sequel for "Star Wars Battlefront" will have bigger contents that ever before. Gamers will likely see these new game features based from the new "Star Wars" films such as "Force Awakens" and episode 8.

Jorgensen addressed some of the reactions to "Star Wars Battlefront stating that there was criticism, and fans wanted more of it, which in his point of view will be a great way to spin a positive on the upset over the lack of single player modes.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is currently available in stores for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
