The release of the Survival expansion came with the game company's first PlayStation 4 Pro upgrade patch. This enabled higher resolution and improved framerates for all their players on Sony's latest video game console system even if they do not own the second expansion.

Survival is included with the Season Pass, which can be bought for $40. The latest expansion can be bought as a standalone DLC for $15. The final expansion for the video game, Last Stand, is currently planned for release in early 2017.

the mission for the players who want to play the Survival is to find the antivirals to the Green Poison, according to another post on the official website of the video game. The medicine is rumored to be found in the Dark Zone.

Players will be sent in Manhattan to retrieve the treatment even though there is a heavy storm covering it due to the urgency of the request. On their way to the landing area, the helicopter carrying them will crash and they will be stranded in the middle of the snow storm with almost little visibility.

Due to the helicopter crash, players will have no gear, no skills, no protective clothing, a single med kit, and one sidearm. Even though they are left with only two items, the video game will give them no choice, but the face the weather and get to the Dark Zone to retrieve the important medicine.

In the latest expansion for "The Division," players will have the whole of Manhattan to explore and it will look different than what they are used to. It can support up to 24 players that are scattered across the map, and it is available in both a PvP and a PvE mode.
