Apple's decision to not sign the iOS 10.1.1 version might mean that there will be no iOS 10 jailbreak soon even after exploits were discovered. Those who are already on iOS 10.2 version could be left out by the upcoming jailbreak tools.

Jailbreaking has been the norm for iOS users that own the latest iPhone or iPad. It allows the users to install cracked apps and more customization which is not possible in the vanilla stock version.

Italian hacker Luca Todesco has already uploaded a beta version of the iOS 10 jaiilbreak but it is still highly unstable, based on his tweet. If ever a new jailbreak tool does get released, users on iOS 10.2 would need to downgrade as the iOS 10.1.1 is now unsigned by the Cupertino-based tech giant.

TaiG and Pangu has been silent regarding their iOS 10 jailbreak progress. The former has already demonstrated a working version during the beta but they seemed to have disappeared now.

There are other hacker groups that claim to have a working iOS 10 jailbreak tool available but they are just scamming users into paying them. It is not recommended to just believe in other groups' claims especially if their website is sketchy or if they do not have a working proof.

Users who are on iOS 10.1.1 without the security sign from Apple will have their iPhones stuck in recovery mode until they update, The Mac Observer reported. There is still no jailbreak version available for iOS 10 and users are still waiting for Pangu, TaiG, Todesco and the others to release their own tools.

Apple reportedly stops signing their old versions within two weeks of a recently released update. It has been their method to force users into upgrading the iOS versions to the latest one in order to prevent exploits from being used. The iOS 10 jailbreak tool is still nowhere to be seen.
