Microsoft has launched a new website dubbed Xbox Game Crest 2016, which is intended to offer Xbox gamers a personalized look of their past year in gaming via several stats. Gamers will now look at several factoids like Gamerscore, achievements, most-played games, and Gamerscore ranks, among others.

Once signed in, gamers can get a look at their most valuable results along with other aforementioned stats. They can also get access to their rank information compared to the entire Xbox community.

Even before logging into one's Xbox Live account, the site will give a quick overview of community achievements this year. Currently, the site indicates that Xbox gamers spent an average of 207 hours on Xbox Live and unlocked 55 achievements.

According to Windows Central, once done examining one's stats, a player can make their own custom gaming crest at the upper part of the page. They can then proceed to customize everything about their crest with various iconography on every portion to make it more personalized. The last step is to download and share the creation with friends.

In related news, Xbox executive Phil spencer has teased that Xbox One backwards compatibility may receive more games in January 2017. The official was commenting in response to one of his Twitter followers who had enquired about the same topic.

Rather than pre-announcing any game, Spencer said that January looked like a pretty good month for Xbox One compatibility. In a different tweet, he spoke more generally about the same, exposing both its appeal and gains.

Xbox One compatibility program launched in November 2015 and now has over 300 games. Earlier this month, several more games like "Core Bioshock" games, "Catherine," "Bully," and "Raskulls" joined the list, with more expected to join in January 2017.

In the meantime, Xbox gamers have spent a total of more than 210 hours playing Xbox 360 games on  Xbox One. Here is a video of Xbox games with Gold coming in January 2017:
