"God of War 4" release date and update has been highly searched online. With its latest update being released concerning the video game's playthrough, fans are now expected for a demo to be released come 2017.

With the relative delay of "God of War" game sequel release, fans are questioning the potential reasons behind the stall. Although game developers have been assuring fans that a release will come sooner, probably next year as most rumors would suggest, still fans are longing for concrete updates about the game.

Under such circumstance, game developer managed to insert a significant game update before 2016 comes to its end. As per GamesRadar, Game director Cory Barlog gave an update on the game's progress recently. According to the report, Barlog assured fans that "God of War 4" is more than a deer hunting game as the game trailer depicted. According to Barlog, he just finished the first full playthrough of the game. Thus, somehow hinting fans that release may be sooner than expected.

That being said, the expectations of fans are now increasing as the completion of "God of War" playthrough for PS4 has been confirmed. Consequently, along with the latest playthrough update, demand of demo has also been surfacing online.

However, AttackofTheFanboy suggested that such longing for a "God of War 4" demo might not be sufficed. Based on the report, the developers have previously stated that the PS4 game will likely not have a demo prior to its launch. "God of War" developer clearly stated that adding a demo prior to the release will require additional time to develop, and it will ultimately affect the anticipated release of the PS4 game.

In view of the facts, it would be best to simply focus on the speculated December 2017 release of the games, as previously reported. Any ideas and longing for a "God of War" game demo will likely not follow through. Thus, it has been highly suggested that gamers should focus more on the game rather than on the unlikely demo.
