‘New Girl’ Season 6 episode 11 spoilers: Professional Jess, Schmidt, ‘Quantico’ crossover, Filipino character?

"New Girl" Season 11 is titled "Raisin's Back." Fans can expect several things from Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel), Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) in the episode.

"There are some possible promotions coming along," Entertainment Weekly quoted "New Girl" executive producer Brett Baer as saying. "Jess is going to become principal, and Schmidt is going to have some professional success at some point."

Regan (Megan Fox) will move into the lot in "Raisin's Back." This will make Nick try to keep cool.

On the other hand, Schmidt's love of electronic dance music will be challenged by Cece Parekh (Hannah Simone) and Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris). Schmidt and Cece are finally leaving moving into the house they bought as their friends start to focus on advancing themselves professionally.

"Raisin's Back" will not feature a "Quantico" crossover. Instead, it will show how happy Winston is to see his officer partner Aly Nelson (Nasim Pedrad) back from her Quantico training.

Asian actor Jay Tapaoan will make his debut in the Fox sitcom. Born and raised in Los Angeles, his father is from the Philippines while his mother, who is of Japanese descent, is from Hawaii.

Tapaoan will play a host in "Raisin's Back." The last TV role he played prior to this was a producer in "Scandal" Season 5 episode 16 titled "The Miseducation of Susan Ross," which aired on March 31.

Meanwhile, Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik are reportedly expecting their second child. Insiders close to "New Girl" production told Too Fab that some of her co-stars and crew members of the sitcom already know about the pregnancy news.

In June 2015, Deschanel and Pechenik secretly got married. In the same year, they welcomed their first child named Elsie Otter Pechenik.
