Game producer Katsuhiro Harada teased the possibility of Lei Wulong as the game's first DLC fighter when he tweeted an answer to a fan asking if Lei will be added to "Tekken 7's" roster and stated that their is still a chance for him to included, however, he explained the usage for the character was very low and their effort was not enough.

With that in mind, several gamer speculated that Lei Wulong will not likely be added to main roster when "Tekken 7" when it launches next year, or Bandai Namco will still include him in the game as a possible DLC character during the sequel's post-launch plans, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Aside from Lei Wulong, other fighters such as Anna Williams, Zafina, Julia Chang and Roger Jr. are also being hinted in "Tekken 7's" roster. Roger Jr.'s chances of being included in "Tekkn 7" are rather unlikely as Harada and Bandai Namco has a "tough decision" on adding more non-human characters in the game. With that in mind, their decision might prompt a mixed response from gaming fans as some would prefer not add them in the roster, while others want them as they have been part of the "Tekken" series. However, since Kuma and Panda are added, it seems that Bandai Namco will likely add Roger Jr. into the roster soon.

Julia Chang, Anna Williams and Zafina have not been added to "Tekken 7's" roster and Bandai Namco still consider them in the roster due the popularity these three have in past games.

In other news, Bandai Namco announced that they are shuting down "Tekken Revolution" in the PlayStation 3 on March 21, 2017.

The company's decision to shut down the game has something to do with the release date plans of "Tekken 7" for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms as they are rumored to launch between the first and second quarter of 2017, Niche Gamer reported.

Twitter username Wonki tweeted a claim that the sequel could launch on February 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

However, Bandai Namco has yet to make a statement regarding the validity of the information as gaming fans are still skeptical about information from Wonkey's source.

Bandai Namco also announced that "Tekken 7" will feature an "Online Tournament" mode for "Tekken 7" for the consoles. The Online Tournament mode will allow gamers to play with up to eight different players from around the world via online play. In addition, they can also get to chat with the players while spectating the tournament.
