Super Mario Run is a free game that is currently available on iOS. However, users are required to spend $10 to advance beyond its first three levels. There is a way through which players can avail this game without paying any money.
Apple is not providing anyway through which the full game of Super Mario Run can be availed for free. However, there is a workaround through which iOS users can get it without spending any money.
According to Phone Arena, an app called CashForApps that is available for iOS and Android users can be used to gain $10 iTunes gift card that can be used to purchase Super Mario Run.
Users are simply required to download and install the app on their mobile device. Next, users are start earning certain number of points by using CashForApps to download other apps. Once sufficient points are collected, it will provide a $10 iTunes gift card to the user which in turn can be used to buy Super Mario Run.
CashForApps provides a $10 iTunes gift card, or $10 Google Play Gift card or $10 Xbox gift card to players who accumulate 3,000 points. Different apps available on CashForApps carry different points. For instance, Twitter and Spotify carry 284 points and Hearthstone has 329 points.
Super Mario Run was launched on Dec. 15. In just for 4 days of its availability, it recorded 25 million downloads across 151 countries earning a gross of around $21 million. Fresh report suggest that Nintendo has lost 11 percent of its shares after the launch game mainly because of negative reviews generated due Super Mario Run's purchase price. The $9.99 pricing has been criticized for a freemium game.
Moreover, the Super Mario Run Android version of the game is yet to be available. With consistent poor reviews coming in mainly because of the pricing of the game, Nintendo is expected to explore new avenues to generate higher revenue from the game.
Nintendo may consider lower the purchase price of the game. Since only 1 to 2 percent of the people who have downloaded the game are purchasing the entire game, the company may consider dropping the cost of the game to $2, Business Insider reported. Like Pokemon GO and other games, the Super Mario Run may continue to remain free but may charge users for making in-app purchases.
