A repeat performance of its Black Friday deal, HTC is again offering their Vive VR headset for $699. The deal also includes two VR games for free.

Gamers and VR enthusiasts in the United States can take advantage of the discounted offering by the company through their online store that ships within two business days or via Amazon's next day delivery.

Two VR games come free for HTC purchases from either of the two stores. The games are "Zombie Training Simulator," which simulates a zombie apocalypse, and "The Gallery - Episode 1: Call of the Starseed," which is an adventure-fantasy game. These games are in addition to the Viveport, which is an app store for VR programs that one can install on their PCs and laptops.

The HTC Vive would require a laptop or a PC desktop that is equipped with a VR-ready graphics card such as the NVIDIA GTX GeForce 1060 or the AMD RX 480.

Gamers and virtual reality enthusiasts who have plans of purchasing the HTC Vive as well as an NVIDIA graphics card can also check out the bundle promo offered by the card manufacturer. Purchasing either the GTX 1080, 1070 or 1060 plus the Vive will give them three VR games for free. These are "Raw Data," "Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope" and "Sports Bar VR."

Complete PC packages and gaming laptops are also included in the GTX HTC Vive Bundle promo, with details on the Ge Force website. Before making their purchase, buyers should make sure that the retailer or e-tailer is participating in the offer so one can avail the download codes for the free games, which is worth $100.

The Oculus Rift is still considered cheaper than the VIve with its $599 price tag, but it does not include two wireless controllers. One needs to shell out another $200 for those.

The HTC Vive VR headset comes with two SteamVR wireless controllers, headphones, and two base stations. It is now available for $699 from the previous $799.
