The long overdue third season of Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" has been confirmed to premiere in 2017 as new rough animations were teased to fans. From the looks of it, the adventures and mishaps of the unlikely duo will continue in the forthcoming installment.

The animated storyboard was boasted to fans on Adult Swim's most recent live stream to alleviate fans who have been musing on what will happen next season. The new season is said be more vulgar than ever as the clip was laden with cuss words and hints of sexual humor on it. This is just the second time that the network released another sneak peek to what will transpire next season.

The video ran for almost three minutes showcasing rough animated sketches from an episode in "Rick and Morty's" looming season. It featured a scene where Morty overheard what her long-time crush Jessica is talking about with her other girlfriends.

Just as when he is about to butt in, Rick came out of nowhere pulling his grandson away from the group. Morty argued with his alcoholic old man that he was supposed to go to school that day, but to no avail. Rick won the argument and made Morty enter the portal that he made.

The two were then transported to space where they almost got killed in obtaining a "plasma shard" from an alien princess. After their ordeal, it already sunk into them what almost happened to them that made the two burst into tears.

Rick then decided that they need to take a breather that marked the end of the video. His reassessment scene in the latter part of the clip is quite unusual to fans. Hence, it is likely to see the mad scientist to be more cautious and expressive with his feelings next season, according to Movie Pilot

During the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, a teaser was also shown to fans where Rick has been endowed with a cockroach's body as he is about to be eaten by a mischief of oversized rats. However, he lured one of them into his trap and used its brain and limbs to exterminate the rodent horde.

Avid viewers will just have to wait for a few more months as the show's third season will premiere in March 2017, Polygon reported. However, these previews should keep longing fans at bay and contemplate with the show even more.
