New details and spoilers for "Logan" will feature a new trailer coming next month and Ryan Reynolds and James Mangold clear out Deadpool cameo rumors.

A new rumor has been making headlines regarding a possible appearance for Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in the third Wolverine spin-off film, "Logan" as Reynolds recently recorded a scene with director David Leitch which is expected to serve as a post-credits sequence at the end of the movie, ComicBook reported.

This will be the second time that both Deadpool and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) will be appearing together in the big screen since "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" were in both characters side-by-side as allies and eventually enemies.

However, Reynolds and "Logan" director James Mangold took noticed of the "Deadpool" cameo in the film and went on to social media to clear things out. Reynolds tweeted that the supposed cameo is sadly not true, while Mangold tweeted stating that the publication TheWrap is dealing with "fake news".

Ironically, Reynolds himself admitted during an interview with Entertainment Weekly  that he wanted to do a film with his character Deadpool and Jackman's Wolverine as he would do whatever it takes to convince Jackman to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie to that point that he would like is internet friends to back him up on his idea.

Both Jackman and Reynolds have worked together during "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" and with "Deadpool 2" in production next year it would be an interesting take to see both X-Men characters interacting with one another knowing that there is a lot of history between them.

However, it is going to take more than that to get the "Wolverine" actor on board for such a crossover film. Even if Jackman did show his interest again in playing Logan one final, "final time", the decision would then firmly rest with 20th Century Fox, which may have other plans for the character during his post "Logan" release.

In other news, it seems that the next "Logan" trailer will be launching in January of 2017.

The official Trailer Track Twitter page tweeted that the second "Logan" trailer will be streamed on Jan. 16 and will be posted on site. The first "Logan" trailer was launched on October as audiences took a good look at cinematic version of "Old Man Logan" and is drawn to certain events that has him protecting a mutant named Laurel (Dafne Keen), who has similar powers with the help of Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart).

Previous reports revealed that a new clip from "Logan" was shown during the Comic-Con Experience event in Brazil. 20th Century Fox hosted the panel for its upcoming film project and Jackman was present during the event via video message and featured the exclusive clip from the film.

The CCXP footage shows Logan/Wolverine (Jackman), Laura/X-23 (Dafne Keen) and Prof. Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) hiding in on a family house from a farm. Despite being questioned about exactly why they are on the road, they do not reveal their identities as mutants to the family. Things go a little array when Xavier and Logan both give different responses to the family’s questioning. Laura is said to be eating her dinner with her hands, not making use of utensils, as Logan does his best to teach her how she should be eating showing a father-daughter bond between the two.

The family soon learned more about them when Logan tells them Xavier was once a school principal. Xavier adds that it was a “school for students with special needs,” before revealing Logan was one of the pupils. It is hinted that this encounter happened after Logan confronted the film's antagonist Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) and his cyborg soldiers the Reavers.

"Logan" will be in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
