It seems that there are many genres that K-pop group miss A member Suzy wants to explore. Recently, the 22-year-old star revealed she would love to take up roles similar to Jennifer Lawrence's "Silver Linings Playbook" character.

On Dec. 23, Hong Kong's Cosmopolitan magazine released Suzy's recent pictorial for its December issue. She showed off a natural and feminine charm, a reminiscent of her "Uncontrollably Fond" character, No Eul.

In the accompanying interview with the magazine, as cited by Soompi, Suzy revealed that she is a big fan of Lawrence's 2012 film "Silver Linings Playbook." She added, "It made me want to play that kind of role some day. These days, I try to read a lot of books regardless of the genre."

The miss A member then shared her thoughts on her past television roles. She said that her "Dream High" character, Go Hye-Mi, resembles her pre-debut self the best, while her recent character in "Uncontrollably Fond" also has a bit of Suzy melted into her.

"That's why people always tell me, 'Your character really resembles you,' whenever I start a new project," Suzy added. "I think I found a commonality between characters and the different sides of myself."

Following the KBS 2TV drama, Suzy will be starring alongside Lee Jong-Suk in SBS' upcoming drama tentatively titled "While You Were Sleeping," The Kpop Herald reported. She will play a woman who has the ability to see accidents that place in the future through her dreams.

Opposite her is the "W - Two Worlds" actor. He is set to transform into a prosecutor who does all that he can to prevent those dreams from becoming real. The SBS drama will benefit from the creativity of writer Park Hye-Ryun and producing-director (PD) Oh Choong-Hwan, whose previous projects include this year's hit SBS drama "Doctors" and the 2013-2014 pan-Asia hit "My Love From the Star."

Produced by SidusHQ, "While You Were Sleeping" is said to be a 100 percent pre-produced drama with its filming slated to begin in the first half of 2017. It was given a Wednesday-Thursday timeslot and will most likely premiere in July 2017.
