"Girl Meets World" Season 3 is still in the bubble since Disney Channel has not made any announcement yet whether or not it will be renewed.

However, the network's counterpart in Canada may have just hinted on the sitcom's cancellation after only three seasons. According to Spoiler TV, the upcoming Jan. 27 episode of "Girl Meets World" Season 3 was listed as the series finale episode for the TV show.

Fans who took notice of the information on the website screenshot it and posted it on various social media sites. This resulted in the creators of the website deleting the information online. Unfortunately, one Twitter user commented that Disney Channel Canada has never listed any false information on their site.

Meanwhile, despite fans clamoring for a possible Season 4 renewal, it cannot be denied that the ratings for "Girl Meets World" have not been faring well. For the past couple of weeks, cast members Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter and more have been using the hashtag "savegmw" on Twitter to encourage the network to renew the sitcom.

However, it is possible that their requests will fall on deaf ears. Blanchard herself has been very emotional since the filming for "Girl Meets World" Season 3 wrapped up a few months ago. On her Twitter account, the 15-year-old actress said that she wants "Girl Meets World" to continue for more season because she feels that the show is unlike any other.

The actress added that the sitcom has served as a voice for the younger generations and has also inspired millions of young viewers across the globe.

In other news, there are also some rumors suggesting that the only way for "Girl Meets World" to be renewed is if it will be picked up by Freeform. Since the sitcom has been tackling more mature storylines, some viewers believe that it should no longer be part of Disney Channel's lineup. Unfortunately, Freeform has stayed mum on the reports.

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 will return with new episodes on Disney Channel starting next month.
