Back in August, Xiaomi put a familiar play against its domestic rivals by offering flagship phones with slick design and decent specs intended for low-end market, namely the Redmi Note 4. The newest addition to its Redmi Note line was initially made available in Gold, Silver, and Grey color. Now, the China-based tech company announced two new Blue and Black color variants for the device.

According to NDTV, the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 color variants are only available for models with 3GB of RAM/32GB of inbuilt storage and 3GB of RAM/64GB of inbuilt storage. Despite the additional color options, the company has maintained the device's affordability by sticking with the price tag on both Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 variants at CNY 999 (Blue) and CNY 1,199 (Black).

As per its specification, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401 per inch that measures 151.00 x 76.00 x 8.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 175.00 grams.

Deccan Chronicle reported that the handset is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, while paired with 2GB of RAM that will run Xiaomi's latest Android-based MIUI 8 software. This Xiaomi smartphone offers a 16GB base storage and a 64GB internal storage, which is expandable via microSD of up to 128GB.

In its optics department, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and f/2.0 aperture. Its front-snapper features a 5-megapixel camera, which is assumed to capture in 85-degree wide angle shots.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot, which means users can choose to go with a combination of either dual-SIM cards or one Micro-SIM and one microSD card. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back panel right below Xiaomi Redmi 4's rear camera.

Its connectivity options come with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G connectivity with VoLTE, Micro-USB, and Glonass. The Redmi Note 4 carries a hefty 4100mAh non-removable battery.

As of now, the Redmi Note 4 is only available in the Chinese market.
