Ahn Jae-Hyun and wife Ku Hye-Sun is locked and loaded for 2017. The two, who previously starred in the 2015 fantasy medical drama "Blood," will soon be seen together hosting a television reality show tentatively titled "Newly Wed Diary."

On Dec. 29, Thursday, it was confirmed that Ahn and Ku will host the new tvN show "Newly Wed Diary" that is scheduled to premiere in 2017, according to local newsoutlet Sports Chosun, as cited by Soompi. It has a similar format to MBC's "We Got Married," but instead of capturing the life of an on-screen couple, the tvN show will have real-life celebrity couples as cast members.

The upcoming "Newly Wed Diary" program is getting a lot of public attention, knowing that it is Ahn and Ku's first show together since they tied the knot in March. At the show, the couple is expected to reveal not only the romantic sides of their married life, but the casual and realistic sides as well.

"Newly Wed Diary" will be directed by Na Young-Suk and Lee Woo-Hyung, who brought the other hit variety shows such as "Three Meals a Day," Grandpas Over Flower" and "New Journey to the West." It will premiere on Feb. 3, 2017 at 9:20 PM (KST).

This comes after the "Boys Over Flowers" actress candidly shared some thoughts about her partner. In a recent interview with Women's Joongang magazine, as cited by The Kpop Herald, Ku said that her husband is someone she can truly communicate with.

"Conversations with my husband could probably reach space," Ku stressed. "Unlike me, he's very insightful with many thoughts and he's someone I can communicate with."

Ku also opened up about the funds that she and her husband donated to a children's hospital right after their wedding. Instead of holding an extravagant wedding, it can be recalled that the couple donated the wedding asset to the pediatrics ward of the Severance Hospital in Sinchon-dong, Seodaemun District, South Korea.

"We are not special people who did tremendous things, so it is an exaggeration to say we donated," Ku said. "I just see it as two small people trying to make a small change in the world."
