A dating rumor involving celebrities is enough for fans to conclude the stars involved are in a relationship. Such is what “Descendants of the Sun” stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo and five other couples from Korean and Chinese dramas are being subjected to.
The speculations could result in the celebrities moving from reel partners to real pairs. However, in the case of Korean boy band member Zhoumi of Super Junior-M, the 30-year-old celebrity is being linked to a Hong Kong actress who is 24 years older than him. AllKPop reported that Zhoumi and 54-year-old Rosamund Kwan have been hit by dating rumors.
Dating Rumors Denied
However, the two immediately denied they are dating. The rumor was sparked by the report of a Hong Kong media company that they were introduced by a mutual friend. Kwan recently became single and Zhoumi was reported to have attended her birthday party and the two allegedly had dates on a yacht.
SM Entertainment, the agency of Zhoumi, issued a statement saying the dating rumors are false. Kwan’s representative also said the rumor is a lie and nonsense.
Kwan’s Previous Marriages
In November 2015, Kwan said she was divorcing Pierre Chen, a Taiwanese billionaire. She admitted her broken relationship after photos of Kwan moving out of Chen’s Hong Kong mansion spread, Straitstimes reported. Kwan did not disclose why she was separating from her 59-year-old husband. They were together for eight years and were reportedly married several times although they had not admitted it.
Chen has a son and twin daughters from a previous marriage. Kwan married Chris Wong, a Hong Kong businessman, in 1981, but they divorced after a short marriage. Zhoumi said he really has many girlfriends but was actually referring to his female fans, according to Soompi.
