Apple users who missed the Luda Todesco iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak are in for potential good news. After all, an iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool might be released soon.

The 10.1.1.1 jailbreak tool made by Luca Todesco is not the no-nonsense jailbreak tool a lot of users are hoping for. This is because it is semi-untethered, which means that the user is required to do the jailbreak every time the device is restarted, according to Forbes.

Also, the jailbreak tool is unstable when it got first released, as it was a beta version. With this, a lot of the iOS users decided to stay with the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool made by Pangu, which seems to be the most stable jailbreak tool for the OS.

However, there seems to be work being done for the iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool. According to Stefan Esser, known for his previous work on the jailbreaking scene, the jailbreak tool for the iOS 10.2 is about to be released.

Users who plan to jailbreak their devices are advised to exercise extreme caution when going to websites offering jailbreak tools for iOS 10.2. After all, currently there is no way to jailbreak the OS so it is likely that the websites are scams.

Meanwhile, the iOS 10.2 suffers from a device bug, according to Neuro GadgetIt is currently plaguing the Apple users, and it basically bugs out the device, turning them off once the battery hits 30 percent. It has been a pervading issue for Apple devices, and it seems that the iOS 10.2 only made things worse.

Regardless, a workaround for the bug is to downgrade to iOS 10.1 and 10.1.1. The problem, however, is compounded by the fact that Apple has prohibited downgrading devices. However, for those who bought their iPhone between October 2015 and September 2016, the unit will be repaired for free.
