With all the K-Pop albums being released in 2016, Billboard's critics has picked BTS' "Wings" album as the best.

BTS garnered the top spot in Billboard's 10 Best K-Pop Albums of 2016 category. According to Billboard, "Wings" blew away all K-Pop chart records as it was an accomplishment all its own. The forward-thinking of the production crew flipped Major Lazer's tropical sound for "Blood Sweat & Tears," and has made their own Calvin Harris-esque EDM on their interlude of "Wings."

Furthermore, the lyrics speak about important topics, such as the difficulty of adulthood and mental health issues that surely put their track at the top spot. With a seven-member boy group, all of the members were given the chance to showcase his own vocal color and preferred genre style.

BTS has really been impressing people not only domestically but internationally, Koreaboo reported.

Meanwhile, DAY6's Daydream has managed to land the second spot in the list. The group has proven that they should not be ignored as they expertly crafted their sophomore release. They have the versatility on cuts like the sassy funk cut that they did on "Blood" and "Hunt."

Ranking third on the list is EXID's "Street." Billboard has mentioned that it was indeed the strongest girl-group output of 2016.

Furthermore, the brother-sister duo Akdong Musician has also made it to the list, placing fourth with their album "Spring." The track still has that folk-pop sound that made listeners fall in love with AkMu in the first place. However, the album's track list gives off a more theatrical feel to the listeners, implying that the young duo is growing at an exciting pace.

Dean has made it to the top five with his 130 Mood: TRBL. He impressed the critics with his versatility in handling turn-up jams and tender tunes. With impressive collaborators on deck, having Jeff Bernat to Zico, who knows where will Dean go to next.

Other albums that have made it in the top 10 in descending order are:

Big Bang's "Made," Tifanny's "I just wanna dance," Seventeen's "Going Seventeen," Mamamoo's "Melting" and GOT7's Flight Log: Fly.
