Along with making a name for himself, Cody "No Love" Garbrandt has definitely made a number of enemies a long the way. Just recently, Garbrandt walked out of a satellite interview with Dominick Cruz and threatened to have a go with him at that very moment, just a couple of hours before their scheduled contest at UFC 207.

It is understandable that the two of them will get into some bad blood. However, now Garbrandt has drawn even the ire of Cruz's teammate, Jeremy Stephens, as the two got into a heated argument at the weigh-in event for the fight, MMA Mania reported.

The trend of trash talking and mind games reached a high point in the sport of mixed martial arts this past year. Notably, Conor McGregor used press conferences and media events as a way of getting into his opponent's head in order to get the upper hand before his bouts. Now, it seems as though Cruz's mind games against his challenger are working, as evidenced by Garbrandt's recent outbursts whenever Cruz and his team get involved with him before the fight at UFC 207.

When asked his side of the incident, Stephens told MMA Fighting that Garbrandt was speaking negatively about him and his team after he was told to walk a certain path by security personnel. Stephens turned around after he noticed that Garbrandt's voice was getting louder and saw him approaching at a hastened pace, as it looked like Garbrandt was going to push him.

Stephens stuck his arm out to defend himself. Security was able to pick him up and move him out of the way before any harm could have been done.

Garbrandt was also asked by the publication for his side of the story. He responded via a text message saying, "Dude's a b***h and scratched my neck with his b*tch nails."

"He is lucky I had my hands full and was taken from behind by a few people," Garbrandt added referring to Cruz. In addition, Garbrant said Cruz knows he canot beat him so "he brings his self-proclaimed savage in and hype man."
