"Scandal" Season 6 will name the new president and vice president of the United States in its upcoming first episode.

Their opponents, namely, Francisco Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) are rumored to take over the White House following President Fitzgerald Grant's (Tony Goldwyn) stint.

Meanwhile, "Survival of the Fittest" is also expected to unveil some awkward scenes between Olivia and Jake, as well as Olivia and Fitz. In Season 5, Olivia's dad, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton), urged his daughter to end her relationship with Jake. The latter decided to tie the knot with another woman when Olivia herself told him that she could not be with him.

On the other hand, Olivia and Fitz were in a relationship when Season 5 premiered. However, their relationship ended sooner than expected when the lead character realized that she cannot be the First Lady just yet. Olivia also found out later on that she was pregnant with Fitz's child, but she decided to get an abortion.

Elsewhere, Huck (Guillermo Diaz), Quinn (Katie Lowes) and Marcus Walker (Cornelius Smith Jr.) will continue working with Olivia as the members of the Gladiators. Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield) may have to patch things up with Olivia and her ex-friends after Fitz exits the White House.

In other news, one character is expected to die in the premiere episode for "Scandal" Season 6. In the promo, Huck and Quinn are seen approaching what looked like an empty warehouse a few seconds before it exploded on their faces.
