The first Korean star to return from the military is none other than Kim Hyun Joong, whose mandatory military service ends in February, as pointed out by Soompi. The actor/singer enlisted in May 2015 and served as a border patrol officer in Paju, Geyonggi Province. Kim's return is likely to grab headlines due to his ongoing assault case with his ex-girlfriend.

Jung Yunho

TVXQ's Jung Yunho will be resuming his former life as a celebrity after finishing military duty in April. The idol started military service in July 2015 in the military band, during which he achieved the status of a special class soldier. Just before his enlistment, Jung entertained fans with his web drama, "I Order You" and TVXQ's special album," RISE AS GOD."

Eunhyuk and Donghae

Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Donghae are expected to return to the K-Pop world in July after enlisting in October 2015. Eunhyuk also joined the military band during his service and is expected to be discharged on July 12 while Donghae will end his duty as a conscripted policeman two days after his band mate, according to Koreaboo.

Changmin and Choi Siwon

In August, TVXQ's Changmin and Super Junior's Choi Siwon will be discharged from military service after enlisting together as conscripted policemen in November 2015. Changmin's return will complete the comeback of pop duo TVXQ while Super Junior will have to wait a little longer for their favorite group's comeback given that Ryeowook enlisted in 2016 and Kyuhyun is expected to join later this year.

Park Yoochun

JYJ's Park Yoochun will also return to the glitz and glamour of the K-Pop scene in August after completing his duty as a public service worker in Gangnam, Seoul. Lee Seung Gi

Last, but certainly not the least, Lee Seung Gi who started military duty in February 2016, will be discharged in October.
