Natalie Portman is one of the most prolific and successful actors in present time. She has been a part of major movie franchises and took on bold roles that earned her several nods from award giving bodies, including her Best Actress win at the 2011 Academy Award for "Black Swan." One of Portman's most memorable performances however is when she played Padme Amidala in the "Star Wars" sequels. In a recent interview, the decorated actress shared her thoughts about why doing big blockbusters is a challenge for her.

At a young age of 35, Portman already has a most diverse acting portfolio. From appearing as Jane Foster in the "Thor" movies, Portman is playing a widowed Jackie Kennedy in the highly buzzed-about movie "Jackie." While doing heavy dramatic movies is no easy feat, Portman reveals that working with visuals effects is actually more challenging to her.

"As an actor, it's like a completely different scale. Because when you're making those movies, you're working with so much blue-screen and so much fantasy your imagination has to be so much larger. It's really challenging for me," Portman tells Deadline.

Working on CGI-heavy films means lots of hours filming in front of blue or green screens. There are strict directions an actor must take otherwise the final output will appear awkward. In Portman's case, although she's done visually challenging films like "Star Wars" and "Thor," she still quite hasn't got the hang of it yet.

"When you're doing those blue-screen movies, you have to imagine everything outside and within. You have to create the whole world. It's like being a kid again," Portman shares.

Meanwhile, Portman is not reprising her role as Jane Foster in "Thor: Ragnarok," The Wrap reports. Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the actress said she's done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe for now. However, she didn't close her doors saying, "I don't know if, maybe, one day they'll ask for an 'Avengers 7' or whatever. I have no idea! But as far as I know I'm done."

In the first two "Thor" movies, Jane was the love interest to Chris Hemsworth's Thor. It was Jane who helped Thor adjust to life on Earth, but her participation in the sequel wasn't as prominent since the story focused more on Asgard.
