Block B member Zico recently had something to say to the fans that attend his performances. The rapper was performing at the "Countdown Seoul 2017 @ Times Square" concert in Yeongdeungpo on Dec. 31, Saturday, to bring in the new year when he asked fans to stop filming him during performances.
Zico was among several other featured artists performing at the concert, including Rhythm-power, Simon Dominic, GRAY, Beenzino and DJ Park Narae. While concerts give fans the opportunity to enjoy watching their favorite artists perform live on stage, many have a tendency to record performances using their smartphones and cameras instead of enjoying the experience with their own eyes.
Similarly, during Zico's performance on Saturday, several fans were busy trying to film him instead of enjoying the performance. The rapper noticed this and shared some words of advice with the concertgoers.
"Please put down your cameras," Soompi quoted the artist as saying. "Everyone, please treasure this moment with your eyes. We already captured a lot in 2016 with cameras and we're in 2017 now. This moment will remain in our memories and won't be sharable with anyone else."
Zico later took to Twitter to reflect back on 2016 and share his new year resolution for 2017 with his thousands of followers. He wrote that this year he will do his best to become the musician that makes his fans proud and repay them for their continuous love and support.

In spite of Zico's request, some fans continued to film his performance. However, most of them took the rapper's advice and lowered their cameras to enjoy the concert experience, which explains the lack of footage from the event.
During his set, Zico performed a number of his hits including, "Bermuda Triangle," "Boys and Girls," and "Yes Or No," according to Koreaboo. Watch Zico's performance of "Yes or No" in the video below:
