It has been a week and Hollywood is still dazed from the blows it incurred with the loss of two of its iconic royalties - Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. Hence, in celebration of their life as well as their huge contribution to the industry that they both grew up with, HBO is slated to shell out a documentary featuring the mother-daughter tandem.

Dubbed as "Bright Lights," viewers will be let inside the lives of both Fisher and Reynolds as they deal with each other from day to day. Moreover, the documentary depicts the endearing relationship between the two with bits of repartee along the way. HBO even released a teaser for the upcoming broadcast that is slated to air this Jan. 7 instead of its supposed playdate on March, MovieWeb noted.

For the unaware, Fisher lived next door to her mom, Slash Film reported. This kind of setup made their relationship as tight as ever considering their ages during the time the documentary was shot. The special feature will also showcase Fisher's concerns back then about her mom who is still performing during that time in Las Vegas. Included in the mix are some rare family video clips featuring Fisher in her teen years and how she dealt with depression at a very young age.

Meanwhile, it was mentioned that both of them will be remembered in a joint funeral service before they are laid to rest at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills cemetery. Reports also suggest that the service will be a private affair, though a public memorial is also considered.
