With only two months remaining before its return to the big screen, "Power Rangers" continues to make headlines. Just recently, Lionsgate and Qualcomm have released a new image to showcase what the "Power Rangers Zords Rising" VR experience will look like.

Fans and press who will attend this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) conference will be the first to try the new VR experience, according to Comicbook. Fortunately for those will miss the annual event, Lionsgate and Qualcomm, which partnered in creating the experience, have released a brand new poster for "Zords Rising" to offer a first look at the heroes in VR.

The image shows the robotic assistant, Alpha 5, standing next to the 5 holographic-like personas of the Power Rangers. Behind them is a green alien-like device, which is presumably Zordon, based on the previous images from CES.

While the image does not have any hint of the Battle Zords yet, the Zords might play a huge role in the upcoming film, being that the experience is called "Zords Rising."

In a statement, Lionsgate senior vice president for global partnerships and promotions Paula Kupfer said, "We're delighted to team with Qualcomm Technologies on a virtual reality experience that will bring fans closer to the action of Saban's Power Rangers as they prepare for the film to arrive on the big screen."

Kupfer added that the cutting-edge VR technology of Qualcomm Technologies provides a platform for an exciting Power Rangers experience and represents a major evolution in the fidelity and immersion made possible through mobile VR.

Meanwhile, Lionsgate is positive about the success of the "Power Rangers" reboot. Last year, its CEO said he was confident that the film series would span up to seven movies, Game Spot reported.

Starring Bryan Cranston as Zordon, Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger, Becky G. as Yellow Ranger, RJ Cyler as Blue Ranger, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger and Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger, "Power Rangers" was directed by "Project Alamanc" director Dean Israelite and is set to hit theaters on March 24.
