When "Grimm" Season 6 returns to the small screens, viewers will see Renard using his new mayoral position to defeat Nick. Mobilizing the police to capture Nick, the new mayor also issues a command to shoot Nick on sight if he resists.

With Renard on a seat of power, Nick and his friends will have their hands full trying to stay one step ahead of the former police captain. However, things will soon take a sharp turn for the new mayor.

In an interview with TV Line, Roiz commented that Renard will soon lose the upper hand in his fight against Nick. He explained, "When we finished on Season 5, [Renard's] really on top and that changes very quickly by Episode 3 [of the new season].″

Faced with several oppositions that will force Renard to seek support from any person that he can find, his daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) will end up as a very important partner for the new mayor. Describing Diana as a person who will play a "large role in [Renard's] life," Roiz mentioned the father and daughter will form a strong bond where both characters will need each other's support.

Despite Diana inciting Renard's paternal instincts, the former police captain will also take advantage of his daughter's immense powers, according to the actor. Roiz shared that his character will recognize the potential of manipulating Diana and her abilities in his battle against Nick.

Meanwhile, "Grimm" Season 6 episode 1 will feature Nick trying to hide from the police after Renard issues a manhunt for the said protagonist. Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) will also spend as much time as they can in the police precinct to keep track of Renard's action and plans, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.

"Grimm" Season 6 will premiere on Jan. 6, Friday, on NBC. Watch a teaser clip below:
