If she had her way, Taiwanese actress Sonia Sui preferred to give birth to her second child whom she named Lucy in Singapore, just like her son Max who was born in 2015. However, the Zika virus outbreak in the city-state made Sonia make last-minute changes to her plan.
She would just give birth in Taiwan, but since original plans were shelved, she had to rush paper work and other things even if Sonia Sui is on her eighth month of pregnancy and already need rest. The situation has led to the mother of the 36-year-old actress complaining that she no longer sees updates about Max on Facebook.
Last-Minute Errands
Sonia Sui explained to her mother that running last-minute errands before she gives birth to her daughter has left her no time to take photos of her son. Among the things she is arranging are searching for a confinement center, selecting meals while she is at the center, getting a nanny and banking the umbilical cord.
Her friends, however, are helping her with the paperwork. The actress and her husband, Tony Chia, plan to deliver Lucy by natural birth. Sonia Sui is one of seven beautiful Asian celebrities listed by Herworldplus as having married ordinary-looking men.

Tony Chia works in the U.S. in the field of finance. Singer Tammy Darshana Lai, Tony’s stepmother, was instrumental in the two being introduced. After four months of dating, they married in Las Vegas. Media and fans described Tony Chia as “ugly” whom Sonia defended as being very kind and possessing a pure heart.
