Asus has announced the ZenFone 3 Zoom during the CES 2017 event. Here is all the details available on its specifications, features, pricing and availability.
The ZenFone 3 Zoom has changed its look appearing to be more smoother than its predecessor, Asus ZenFone Zoom. The predecessor had the circular camera at the back which is replaced is with dual camera feature on the newer device.

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has a Snapdragon 625 SoC under the hood. It was earlier rumored to come equipped with advanced Snapdragon 835 chipset.
As mentioned earlier, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom features 2.3x zoom for one of its camera in the dual camera setup. It makes the far objects appear closer. The 12-megapixel main camera is equipped with a Sony IMX 362 sensor and a f/1.7aperture. The secondary camera is of 12-megapixel. It offers features like OIS, EIS and RAW photography.
The device is said to come with Sony IMX 214 sensor and f/2.0 aperture for the front facing camera. It will give better quality for selfies in any environment. Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom comes with huge 5,000mAH battery. The company claims that when its battery is fully charged, the phone will give 6.4 hours of talktime, Techno Buffalo reported.
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom Release Date, Price
The ZenFone 3 Zoom is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the second quarter of 2017, Indian Express reported. The pricing of the device has not be declared. It is expected to cost around $400.
Asus had launched the original ZenFone Zoom in January 2015. The phone features a 5.5-inch display that produces a full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone is powered by 2.3 GHz Quad core Intel Atom Z3580 chipset and PowerVR G6430 graphics. It is packed with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
The device has received Android Marshmallow update.. It sports 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The phone boasts a 3,000 mAh battery and is available in Meteorite Black, and Glacier White color variants.
