The latest details for "Marvel vs.Capcom: Infinite" will feature clarifications on the leaked roster and a new Capcom character to debut in the sequel.

It seems that clarifications on the rumored leaked roster for "Marvel vs. Capcom: infinite" has been explained by NeoGaf username Ryce stating that information was a fake. The leaked "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" roster include several well known characters in both Marvel and Capcom franchises.

The Marvel characters include Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, Thor, Loki, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Venom, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Ultron, Thanos, Star-Lord, Rocket (w/Groot), Doctor Strange, Gwenpool, Squirrel Girl, Fing Fang Foom (Giant Character), Wolverine, Magneto, Storm, and Doctor Doom.

On the Capcom side will feature Ryu, Rashid, Chun-Li, Zangief, Gill, Morrigan, Talbain, Tessa, Mega Man X, Sigma, Roll, Strider, Jin, Captain Commando, Edward Falcon, Asura, Gene, Dante, Leon, Ada, Wesker, Nina (BoF2), Spencer, Simon Blackquill, Phoenix Wright, Rathalos (Giant Character), Masamune Date, Batsu, June, and Frank West, PvP Line reported.

However, Ryce cited that the leaked source is a fake as the leaked roster was posted by Twitter and Reddit username Ten Count Fall. Ryce was also responsible for announcing "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite on the PlayStation Experience event last year.

The only confirmed playable characters in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" are Iron Man, Capain Marvel, Captain America, Megam Man X, Ryu and Morrigan. Despite, the roster leak being a fake, gaming fans wanted to see other Marvel and Capcom characters who have not yet introduced to the "Marvel vs. Capcom" sequels such as Loki, Black Panther, Asura, Leon and many more.

Username Ryce also teased that a new Capcom character could make his/her debut in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" teasing that this one is a major villain in Capcom video game, EventHubs reported.

Marvel and Capcom previously teased "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's" unique storytelling as they finally tell gaming fans on how both worlds collide in the first place.

Capcom representative Michael Evans teased the "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's" storyline will be the pillar of the game and the new characters Mega Man X and Captain Marvel will play an important role into the plot.

Marvel Game's representative Mike Jones added that the "core" foundation that Marvel made from TV series, movies, games etc. is the storytelling and so with the new emphasis on the cinematic story mode and the story of how these two universes collide, and how the characters meet. it drove a lot of the creative decisions for what characters to use in the game.

The sequel also return to its two-on-two tag team style match ups, unlike the three man team in the previous games. Plus, the Infinity Stones are featured as powe-ups for characters with Ryu using the Power Stone to strengthen his attacks, while Captain Marvel came move faster with the Time Stone.

Capcom added that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will feature a a single-player Arcade, Training, and Mission mode, as well as a cinematic Story Mode that puts players in between both universes as they fight to the top to take on the game’s new villain who is revealed to be at the end of the cinematic trailer.

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
