Jeremy Renner is very dedicated to his badass character Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since a lot of characters from Marvel's rosters are getting their own standalone film, Renner has already prepared an idea for Hawkeye's solo outing as well.

Renner recently revealed an idea he's been developing for a possible "Hawkeye" solo movie. The plot involves Black Widow, played by co-star Scarlet Johansson. "I always thought it would make sense early on to do a Hawkeye/Widow movie because they're quite similar," Renner said, according to Edmonton Sun.

It's a no-brainer why Renner is wants Black Widow to be part of the "Hawkeye" movie. Both characters have been working for S.H.I.E.L.D for a long time and have a very close relationship so much so that among all the members of Avengers, Johansson's Natalie Romanov was the only who knew about Clint Barton's family. Also, unlike other superheroes, Hawkeye and Black Widow do not have superpowers. What they do have are exceptional skills. Given these qualities, whatever Hawkeye and Black Widow will be an interesting kind of different compared to the villains we see in other Marvel films.

No plans for a "Hawkeye" movie, however, has been discussed over at Marvel and Disney.

In the same interview, the two-time Oscar-nominated actor also hinted that the Avengers cast will soon reunite as they begin filming for "Avengers: Infinity War" in Atlanta, Comicbook.com reported.

Meanwhile, Renner's dedication to his role is very charming. Hawkeye has been the butt of many jokes, especially for being the one of the most dispensable members of the Avengers. His character spent the most of the first "Avengers" movie in a state of mind control, thanks to Tom Hiddleston's Loki. How he never runs out of arrows is also one hot topic for debate.

Renner, however, is a good sport and laughs along with the jokes. He even made a song in defense of his character, sung to the tune of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." Through the song, Renner argued that while Hawkeye may not have god-like powers or super strength, he has many other qualities that make him one of the most likeable Avenger.
