"Super Mario Maker" has been used to make some of the most difficult levels in "Mario" history. Not every notable user-created level is difficult, however, and YouTuber KHAce has managed to use the game maker to recreate the entirety of "Super Mario Land," a Gameboy classic.

KHAce is known for using "Super Mario Maker" and remaking other Nintendo classics with its engine. Some of his previous works include a remake of "Mega Man 1" and "Kirby's Dreamland."

The recreated version faithfully adapts the level design and bosses from the Gameboy original. However, because "Super Mario Maker" does not have tools specifically for the Gameboy games KHAce had to make a few alterations, Eurogamer reported.

Some of these alterations include portraying the game entirely in color. The original version on the Gameboy was completely in black and white. All of the bosses have also been replaced with Bowser and the aesthetics were built entirely with the NES "Super Mario Bros." engine.

All of the underwater levels have also been altered. A plain blue sky was used for the blue background and the submarine was replaced with a Clown Car, a flying machine often used by Bowser. Music from the Gameboy games has been remixed and added into the YouTube video but is not present in the actual levels.

There are four worlds, each with three individual stages, adding up to twelve playable levels. These are solely available for the Wii U version of "Super Mario Maker," Gamespot reported. No word has yet been released if a 3DS version will also be available soon.
