John Cena will challenge A.J. Styles for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 29. However, the most important match for Cena is the one at WrestleMania 33. Let's take a look at all the possible feuds for Cena heading to the Grandest State of Them All in Orlando on April 2.

Many expect the 39-year-old superstar to win his 16th WWE world title at the Royal Rumble. Fans might not like that idea but the WWE would not want Cena to be 0-3 against one guy. Even though Styles is the best thing in the company right now, Cena is still the face of the WWE.

Drag Cena vs. Styles until WrestleMania

Although half of WWE's fanbase hates Cena, they certainly like the idea of Cena vs. Styles wrestling at the biggest event of the year. The WWE can always drag the feud until WrestleMania 33 since the two superstars are capable of having a five-star match together.

The WWE is now pressured to keep up with NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 11 after the incredible match between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada. Vince McMahon might want to top that and only a handful of stars like Cena and Styles have the chemistry to pull it off.

There is also the rumored the 2-out-of-3 Falls Match between Cena and Styles at the Elimination Chamber PPV, per Cageside Seats. If Cena wins at the Rumble and goes 2-1 in the Elimination Chamber, he'll be 3-3 against Styles. "The Phenomenal One" can make the argument for a grudge match at WrestleMania 33 to determine who the better one is.

Make John Cena vs. The Undertaker Dream Match happen

According to The Wrestling Observer (subscription required), Cena vs. Taker was the original plan for WrestleMania 32 last year. Cena's injury shelved the plans with The Undertaker moving to a feud with Shane McMahon instead.

The WWE can easily book this match at WrestleMania 33 by giving Cena the WWE title win at the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker, on the other hand, could win the Royal Rumble Match and challenge for the WWE title.

Put over Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 33

The time of Cena in the WWE is on borrowed time with Hollywood already calling him. In what better way to leave WWE by putting over a young superstar like Corbin, who is on a roll lately. "The Lone Wolf" has the potential to become a one of the best ever as long as he keeps improving in the ring and on the microphone.

Blake Oestriecher of Forbes pointed out that Corbin could win the Royal Rumble and challenge Cena for the WWE title if he defeats Styles. It will be a huge step for the WWE's future but everyone knows what happens to young stars facing Cena at WrestleMania - they lose.

Bray Wyatt had all the momentum in the world in 2014 as he faced Cena at WrestleMania 30. However, Wyatt lost to Cena not only in the match but also in the feud. The same thing happened to Rusev in 2015 and he's still recovering from not being put over by Cena.
