OnePlus 3, 3T Android Nougat OxygenOS 4.0.1 Update

In November 2016, OnePlus declared that it will be rolling out Android Nougat update by end of 2016 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Finally, the promise was fulfilled and stable version of Android Nougat started rolling out on Dec. 31. It is coming gradually to all the users of OnePlus 3 and 3T phones.

OnePlus has now released an incremental update that features OxygenOS 4.0.1 flavored Nougat for OnePlus 3 and 3T users. It brings couple of bug fixes that includes updated APN settings for some carriers and improved stability. The bug related to proximity sensor during phone calls has been resolved.

According to OnePlus forums, the new update also resolves the issue that prevents users from downloading from the Google Play Store. If users are unable to download apps while on Data Roaming, users need to follow troubleshooting steps provide by Google.

Otherwise, users can try switching on Battery Saving Mode as well as resetting Play Store app preferences. If this does not resolve app downloading issue for Google Play Store, users need to force stop or uninstall these three apps: Truecaller, AVG Antivirus and PayTm.

All the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users will not receive the updates at one time. Users are required to be patient as the update will be rolled out gradually. Users who have not received the update automatically can check manually for the availability of the update.
