The show is expected to go on a pause again as episode 13 will be the last one for this month. CBS will air episode 14 in Feb. So far, it is not not known why the show is taking another long break.

The show's episode 12, titled "The Holiday Summation," was released on released on Jan. 5, where Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) traveled to Texas to meet Sheldon's mom for holidays. When Sheldon tells his mother that he and Amy are living together, Mary (Laurie Metcalf) seemed more relieved than shocked. As it turns out, Amy told the truth to Sheldon's mother long before the trip.

Episode 13, "The Romance Recalibration," will show Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) suffer a minor bump in their marriage. Penny feels that Leonard is not taking her very seriously and decides not to ask him for her usual spa trip. However, when Leonard learns the truth, he does everything he can to make it up to his wife.

In episode 14, "The Emotion Detection Automation," which is scheduled to air in first week of Feb, Sheldon is seen struggling with his emotions as he seeks help from a special machine to help detect his feelings.

Meanwhile, according to Fox News, the lead casts' contracts are only drawn up to season 10, putting a question mark on show's renewal. With half the year gone and still no news about season 11, fans are starting to wonder if they will be able to see Sheldon's quirkiness past season 10.

However, CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller reassures the fans during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the negotiations are underway and they are "guardedly optimistic" about the new contracts.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 airs every Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
