"Deadpool 2" is getting ready to enter production, with Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the titular hero. It will also be introducing new allies such as Domino and Cable but writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese also confirm that Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) will be coming back as well.

It is uncertain how large of a role they will have in the sequel but they are indeed going to be included, Reese explained in an interview with Collider. Wernick was more cryptic and only suggested that they will "make at least an appearance," hinting of a short cameo.

The report further notes that given how the first "Deadpool" movie embraced its R-Rating in both comedy and violence there is a chance both characters will be killed off quickly in "Deadpool 2." They may also appear longer and could plant the seeds for the upcoming "X-Force" movie.

In the original "X-Force" comic books Deadpool and Cable were prominently featured as well as Cannonball, Warpath, Domino and Psylocke. Adding Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead would add a level of variety.

"Deadpool 2" is also still in pre-production and the role these two mutants may have can still change, Screen Rant reported. Wernick's comments suggest they will only be in for a short sequence or a single scene but this could radically change during filming. Reshoots are a common factor in making films and their roles could be reduced or increased before the movie is released.

However, there is the potential issue of overcrowding the movie with too many characters. There is also the problem of merely repeating the good parts of the first film instead of changing things up and bringing something fresh.

Neither Kapicic nor Hildebrand have yet commented about their roles in "Deadpool 2." The trailer for the first film can be viewed below:
