Bill Goldberg made an immediate an impact when he returned to the WWE in October. He is set to appear on WWE television until WrestleMania 33 but he could be coming back for more dates. The latest rumors suggest that he will not retire and return for a match at WrestleMania 34.

The WWE were struggling with ratings when they decided to re-sign Goldberg to a part-time deal. In his first appearance on Monday Night Raw, the ratings went up so the WWE booked him as a monster at Survivor Series.

Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series in just one minute and 26 seconds. He then announced his participation at the 2017 Royal Rumble Match which means he will surely work WrestleMania 33.

The 49-year-old superstar is also booked to appear at the Fastlane PPV before WrestleMania, per FOX Sports. Some of the possible plans for Goldberg at the event include a match against the likes of Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho or Braun Strowman.

Goldberg could also form a tag team with Roman Reigns and face a heel team of Jeri-KO or Strowman plus another heel. The former WCW star has also been teasing his retirement since he returned to the WWE and the speculation is WrestleMania 33 could be his final match.

However, a new report has emerged stating the Vince McMahon will offer Goldberg a deal to work until WrestleMania 34. According to Pro Wrestling Unlimited, top WWE officials are very happy with Goldberg's popularity and they want him to work until next year.

It should be noted that WrestleMania 34 will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. However, it's still too early to know if Goldberg wants to wrestle more matches. He has not lasted two minutes for a match and he's been gassed every time he gets physical inside the ring.

Nevertheless, the WWE wants to do everything it can to keep the ratings up even if it means giving an almost-50-year-old superstar a lot of money. Goldberg's next appearance will be in the January 23 edition of Monday Night Raw to confront Lesnar.
