DJ Khaled is not only a multimedia and entertainment mogul, he is also one of the world's most recognizable pop culture icons. Now it seems as if he is looking to explore uncharted waters after releasing his first ever video game in collaboration with Champs Sports. The game is called "Secure the Bag" and is billed as featuring Khaled as well as a time-travelling jet ski.

A video game based on Khaled would surely go against his favorite saying, "don't play yourself." However, the game was actually developed as a genius marketing campaign for his collaboration with boot manufacturer Timberland. It is available on both desktop and mobile devices.

The plot of "Secure the Bag" involves Khaled going to the release of his boot, according to Billboard. However, he finds himself in different time periods and having to use his previously mentioned jet ski to get through them in time. The reason for the use of this particular type of vehicle in the game is Khaled's numerous Snapchat posts on which he is riding on a jet ski.

With Khaled being a native of Miami, it also came as no surprise that the different periods or levels in the game include Prehistoric Miami, Viking Miami, and Future Miami. Aside from the allusion to his favorite jet ski, the game also refers to its villains as "they," which is a term he popularized.

"Secure the Bag" features retro graphics and platforming gameplay. Players need not be fans of Khaled in order to enjoy it.

However, this video game is not been the only thing that has kept Khaled busy over the last few months. He has also been working on some new music with Chance the Rapper, according to Complex. The last time these two worked together proved to be a smash hit when they joined forces in the music video for Chance the Rapper's "No Problem" in Miami.

Khaled's latest album "Major Key" is nominated for Best Rap Album at the 5th Grammy Awards on Feb. 12. It will be going up against Chance the Rapper's "Coloring Book" and Drake's "Views," among other major hip-hop releases.
